Automatic Driving Lessons - Savannah Passes Her Test Today in Darlington — Savannah’s Super Test Pass In Darlington

A big well done to Savannah, who passed her driving test today in Darlington.

Her usual instructor, Angie, is off the road with a hand injury. When that happened, Clint stepped in to take Savannah to test so she didn’t lose her slot. That kind of teamwork sums up how DrewMatic roll. Nobody gets left behind, no test gets wasted, and pupils stay focused no matter what happens.

Our “Ready for Test” system is built for moments like this. We don’t train people to drive only when everything goes to plan. We train them to stay calm, think clearly, and adapt when things don’t. Savannah proved she was ready today. Clint showed what being part of DrewMatic means.

We all want to wish Angie a full and fast recovery. She’s one of the best, and we’ll all be glad to see her back behind the wheel soon.

If you’re an instructor who wants to work with a team that actually supports each other, trains pupils to a higher standard, and puts instructors first, you should be talking to us.

Train to be a driving instructor with DrewMatic – The Automatic Choice.

I passed my test today with 0 faults and I couldn’t be any more thankful to my instructor Emma Tho and definitely couldn’t have done it without her. I’m a very awkward person at times, especially meeting new people and being in close proximity with them but it didn’t take long for me to become comfortable around Emma. I started to enjoy lessons rather than dreading them. I was also really nervous about learning to drive and Emma was so patient with me and never made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable when making little mistakes. Emma would always explain things clearly and helped me gain confidence in myself from day one leading to a 0 fault pass. I’m a little sad lessons are over now but happy I feel safe, confident and ready to drive on my own, all thanks to Emma. I would definitely recommend Emma to anyone learning to drive.

I finally passed my driving test thanks to Craig! I’ve been with a couple instructors from a different driving school but Craig was definitely the best and helped me learn the most. Would highly recommend choosing Drewmatic if you’re looking to learn automatic.

Found Craig through Drewmatic, I needed a vehicle which was comfortable and adjustable for me and he had that covered . I have been on the roads 2 decades on 2 wheels , so turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks . Very patient and friendly throughout all my lessons and passed first time , and it’s very different to a riding a bike so was indeed learning over again . Top school with top instructors, just be ready for dad jokes 😂

I can't recommend Craig highly enough. When I first started learning to drive, I was absolutely petrified of being on the roads. Thanks to Craig's calm, patient approach, my confidence grew with every lesson. He helped me understand road signs, speed limits, and how to deal with different driving situations, all while making safety the top priority. No matter how nervous I felt or how many questions I asked, he was always incredibly patient, reassuring, and supportive. Craig didn't just teach me how to pass my test, he taught me how to be a safe, confident driver. If you're someone who feels anxious about driving or lacks confidence behind the wheel, I genuinely couldn't recommend Craig more. He's an excellent instructor who really takes the time to help you succeed.

I'm so pleased I made the decision to learn to drive with Drewmatic Automatic Driving School and even more grateful to Clint for teaching me. I was always put off learning to drive as I doubted myself too much and never thought it was achievable but, after my first lesson I felt at ease with the support and guidance from Clint. From beginning this journey in September 2025 with no experience of driving at all to passing first time June 2026 has been a great experience even at times where I may have struggled Clint explained things in a way that is easy to understand and his teaching method is effective which leads to success. I cannot thank Clint enough for this opportunity and continuing to believe in me. Highly recommended!
