What you can expect at Hartlepool Driving Test Centre
MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR PROVISIONAL LICENCE!!!
Your Driving Test WILL NOT GO AHEAD if you forget it.
PHOTOGRAPHS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
You should arrive 10-15 minutes before your Driving Test.
Before entering the Car Park, you should ensure that there are not any Driving Tests returning, It is considered very bad manners if you pull in to the car park while other Driving Tests are arriving back or concluding and examiners take a very dim view if their customer’s tests are impacted by thoughtless or unaware customers arriving too early.
Consider your actions carefully before entering the Hartlepool Driving Test Centre Car Park.
There may even be queue. You should consider this also.
You should REVERSE in to your chosen parking bay so that your vehicle is facing FORWARDS when you depart on test.
THIS IS IT, the day has arrived, you’re probably going to be on fire with nerves and excitement.
It’s actually ok to be nervous, but you should be confident of your abilities.

If they are discovered attempting to help you, then the Examiner will terminate your Driving Test and you will have to pay again. - You will then be asked to accompany the Examiner in to the car park where you will be asked to read a number plate at a distance of not less than 20 meters
- You will then be asked the first of TWO SHOW ME TELL ME questions. The first will be asked in the Test Centre, the second will be asked on the drive
