Another certain School is making a big old song and dance about being ready to go on the 6th July and in doing so is hoping to cash in on new clients desperate to get started again at the expense of the local one man / woman driving instructor.
And in an act of sleight of hand, this is where this certain driving school traps you:
This 6th of July isn’t confirmed, it’s only ‘likely,’ only ‘possible.’
But it’s something tangible, something definite, something to focus on and get excited about, whereas your own, or your friends’ own instructors may still be saying that they don’t know.
This other certain school are hoping to take advantage of that.
Don’t let them.
Let’s, for argument’s sake. say that you do, when you call them, you’ll be encouraged to book your lessons, and pay up front for them.
It’s well worth me mentioning here our own COVID-19 Queue Buster Scheme that we ran a while ago, it was an incredible success, but WE didn’t ask ANYONE to pay up front, we just gave people the choice, we said that you can pay if you want, but why not just go on a contact list and we’ll contact you when we get the all clear to return to work.
Our now new clients responded extremely well to that.
This is yet another way we differ from other places!
Now, let’s suppose that the Government then decide to increase the lockdown measures, rather than relax them around the beginning of July..
This particular certain driving school DOESN’T do refunds, it’s in their terms and conditions.
And there’s the sting guys, you’re trapped with them and your small businessman/woman driving school owner also loses out on your custom.
DrewMatic are, themselves aiming for the 6th July too and our clients are being prepped for then, (they’re being steamed, parboiled and disinfected as I type this- hahaha) seriously though- they’re fully aware that it might change and the fact isn’t hidden away in small print.
PLEASE don’t turn your back on your own instructor, whomever they may be, they’ve ALWAYS had YOUR best interests at heart, they don’t want to profit from you, they want the best for you, it’s like choosing to shop at your local shop rather than go to ASDA or Sainsbury’s, you’ll always get a far higher standard from a local instructor.
None of our instructors are being forced to go back, and they’ve all got 4 franchise fee (rent) free weeks when they do start back because we want them comfortable, safe and happy whilst they build their diaries back up without the fear of having to pay rent to add to their costs and worries.
We don’t profit from ADI’s we work with them.
We, haven’t lost our souls to big business, it’s why we’re so successful and why we get so many passes in Automatic, because we attract top teaching talent not just because of the package we offer our instructors, but because of the way that we treat them, nobody leaves, everyone stays and YOU the customer, in turn benefit ten fold with the quality of tuition that you receive.
